We live in difficult and challenging times... a nation at war... a staggering economy... high unemployment... looming threats to our safety... and a state government that has turned its back on cities like Revere. The fiscal problems faced by Massachusetts' cities are serious and unprecedented. It would be easy to be discouraged, but Tom Ambrosino will never give up fighting for Revere.

Tom has worked tirelessly to help Revere get through these hard economic times. It has not been easy. Severe State cuts to Revere's local aid and other vital programs have put our city in financial peril. Tom spoke up for us at the State House fighting for the critical resources we need to fund our schools, senior programs and public safety services. He has streamlined the city budget, made difficult cuts, and used every resource available to preserve critical services.

Tom knows that all the people of Revere will have to pull together to make it. But, he is confident that we are tough enough to succeed in spite of the problems we are facing.
